Always a fun one! This was a decently busy year for me, with the majority of it being work travel.

Total Countries: 15
Total Airports: 33
Total Airlines: 15
Total Aircraft: 27

New Countries (3): New Zealand, Portugal, Costa Rica
New Airports (11): CGK, PKY, AKL, WLG, SJO, FON, PJM, OPO, NA0, YIA, CHC, MEL
New Airlines (8): Air NZ, Qantas, Citilink, Scoot, Batik, Garuda, ITAir, Georgian Airways
New Aircraft (2): Piper Seneca, MV-22 Osprey

I had a couple of aviation-related highlights this year...First was a trip to Greece during their wildfire outbreak this summer, and working with the U.S. Marine Corps to prepare them for potential aerial firefighting missions...we flew from Athens out to the USS Bataan off the coast of Crete on an Osprey with firefighting buckets to train their CH-53 pilots. First shipboard landing too, which was pretty cool!

Second was a vacation to Costa Rica, where we opted to charter domestic flights between Arenal, Puerto Jimenez, and San Jose, which was a fantastic was to get around, and was about the same cost as seats to Puerto Jimenez on a commercial carrier.

Third one was the annual Aerial Firefighting conference, coincidentally also in Greece, where we got a great show from one of the Erickson Aircranes right at golden hour.

Hoping for a similar set of stats this coming year, we'll see how it plays out!
