I have a one-way domestic reservation/PNR on G3 (AAdvantage standard redemption, 001 ticket number) with a tight connection (1h55m) at GIG to a one-way international reservation/PNR on AA (AAdvantage dynamic redemption, 001 ticket number).

​​​​​​What is the standard policy for through-checking bags to AA at the G3 point of origin? I understand I can't assume the standard policy will be followed, but is the through-check even a possibility?

I'm concerned about not having enough time to get my suitcase at baggage claim, go from the domestic to the international terminal, and check in before the baggage cut-off time. I'm OW Emerald but I don't believe there is Flagship First check-in at GIG, though the check-in line is my least concern in the entire process.

Would it make sense to attempt to combine the two tickets into a single PNR? I'm not even sure if that's possible after ticketing.
