On the day of departure I received a nice email from the "Front Office Supervisor", copying a bunch of other managers/staff asking for my feedback. I didn't see it before I left the hotel as I would have sought the person out and given them my (less than positive) feedback in person. I did reply to their email (reply to all) several days later and not surprisingly, crickets ever since...no acknowledgement of my email, no thank you for your feedback, and certainly no compensation for the poor experience.
This is what I told them:
Hi Nibras,
Thank you for your message.
As a Marriott Lifetime Titanium member who stays in many different Marriott properties globally I have to say that my stay was not to my complete satisfaction, nor what I expected from a hotel of your standing.
First, I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed and that I didn't receive any notification of that prior to my stay. Also, when I went to the Club Lounge for breakfast on Monday, Dec 4th it was all wrapped up before the 10 AM posted closing time. On Tuesday, Dec 5th, I attempted to attend the Club Lounge again for breakfast and found that there was no hot breakfast available on display as apparently the warmers were in-operable. I then attempted to conduct a Business call from the lounge and was interrupted several times by the attending staff who were conversing loudly amongst themselves in the lounge to the point where I had to stop my call and ask them to be more quiet.
As I suggested, I expected more from a hotel like yours and I hope your team works to rectify these kinds of issues for future guests.
Thanks,
Overall, wouldn't recommend this property other than the location is good, but not a great spot beyond that.
