Proactive upgrade: 1BR Suite in Tower 2 (very tight layout)
Asked if they have any 1BR Suites (with 1.5 baths) and was graciously given one in Tower 1 which had a much more spacious layout, nicer bathroom, dresser, closets, etc.
Highlights
* Aesop bath products (hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash)
* Roosevelt Beignets (available at Fountain Lounge and Teddy's Cafe) IMO much better than Cafe Du Monde, etc.
* Fried Chicken (Fountain Lounge, $24, only available Mon dinner, 5-10pm) finger licking good, a MUST try!!
* Spa - Aesop products for sale (good place to use $100 property CR, unfortunately no 10% discount for Diamond members which is somewhat common at other WA properties)
Gift Shop: quantity but no quality, hard pass
Domenica: pizza's good but not great (cannot charge to room). pizza's are half off during happy hour (dine-in only). Available on Uber Eats if you prefer takeout.
Christmas/holiday decorations make The Roosevelt a big hit for pictures all throughout December. Tons of visitors coming/going snapping away.
Overall, an older building; however, WA charm/professionalism/luxury doesn't disappoint.
