At JFK now, my DL flights on Virgin blew up when I requested an earlier VS flight on LHR-DEL. Just asked about it-- in an apparent misunderstanding, the agent cancelled my original booking and then there were no seats in Upper Class to put me into (!) and he also could not put me back into my original flights.
Ended up with the last seat on KLM JFK-AMS-DEL, which still saves me the 10 hours in London that I'd had, but lots of drama in between.
Looks like I'm on a 787-900 on JFK-AMS in 7K, window, and 8K, window, on AMS-DEL.
Did I luck out and get the newly redone 773 Biz seat? Seems to be so, based on the seat map. Wow!
It's not even in SeatGuru yet, or SeatMaestro. Fingers crossed it doesn't change tomorrow.
