I find it easier to think about the increments like this: the increment is added during an annual sweep early in the new year based on the number of EQNs you achieved the previous year. These exact same EQNs of course determine your elite status for that subsequent year. So if you qualified for Platinum through 2024 with >50 nights stayed during 2023 then you'll get the increment during the sweep early in 2024. Similarly, whatever you achieve during 2024 will increment early in 2025.

The exception to this is when you increase status level during the qualifying year (from, say, Platinum to Titanium) when the increment is added immediately and you do not get an additional one during the subsequent annual sweep early in the following year.
