They charge $10 for valet for the full day as long as you aren't staying over night, though they have often waived this for me during the off season. You can park at Salt Creek Beach for a few dollars and walk up the hill. For free parking you can park on Stonehill Drive (~10 min walk). The180blu restaurant on the patio is first come first serve and has a great view. You can order drinks at the indoor bar, walk around the property, and go to the large fire pit in the back and watch the sunset.
