Just a question here, I have not called AF yet since as of now it seems to me that I would like to use good spirits of Christmas to ask for impossible but I have business class light trip booked with my father in 2 weeks (he is somehow Platinum too) and we will, 99% wont fly due to family emergency with health issues of the closest relative we have. Our insurance does not cover this nor the credit card provider can do anything. We would not ask for refund, voucher would be absolutely fine as we do not even have clue when we would fly so rebooking is not an option actually. Anybody with experience getting voucher in situations similar to this one? That is one thing where platinum effect could come handy.
