Thanks for taking the time to share! I haven’t flown CX since 2019 despite my best efforts. The J fare for the route I need (NYC-KUL) has been cheaper on pretty much every other airline so I too have been questioning sticking with CX. However, unlike you, I was quite impressed with QR QSUITES and more so with the service (and love the new Garden lounge in DOH). Don’t care for the SQ flip over seats though I’ve gotten used to them.

If I’m reading the status requirements right, it might actually be easier to earn status on QR so right now I’m trying to figure out I should just start accumulating there, or just be lazy (and potentially dumb) and stick with CX because of inertia and also it is still my preferred route should I ever find affordable J fares again.
