Don't know how you are coming up with .5 CPM for Skymiles. They are worth 1 CPM as a base with PWM and Skymiles awards are mostly in the 1.2 - 1.3 CPM ballpark with the Amex 15% discount these days (around 1 CPM without). If you hold out for award sales, you can do somewhat better than that.
