I was just looking at some trips for the up coming year and found a flight that goes Air Canada to Taipei Via NRT with NRT to TPE leg with China Airlines.

When I put in the millage calculator it comes up as "????" I am assuming for the NRT to TPE leg with China Airlines there would be no SQM and the base fare for that section won't go towards Aeroplan status SQD?

China Airlines is not with Star Alliance.
