Recently stayed twice at the IC Guatemala City. There is a Club Lounge on floor 15. It is not always "open" but a good alternative service is provided when it's "shut".

On the first stay it was open for "happy hour" between 6.00pm and 8.00pm (it was physically open all hours but no service provided outside these times). All other lounge services, coffee / tea, breakfast, etc. were provided at "The Market" (their casual restaurant). On the second stay all services, including happy hour, were provided at The Market.

Service in both the Club Lounge and The Market was good. I was welcomed by name on the second stay and they initiated conversations based on the first stay. On the second stay we turned up just before 8.00pm and they were very relaxed about serving drinks and food beyond the official end of happy hour.

In discussion, the decision on where (and when) to provide Lounge services is based on the number of people staying who have lounge access.

Below is the second canape serving (the first being savoury).
