About 2 years late! I was planning to stay there on points on a visit in August 2022, but the original opening date came and went without any news. I assumed it was no longer happening. I ended up paying cash for an independent hotel in central Ponta Delgada and think it was for the best as the location was convenient for everything we wanted, whereas the DT location would not have been.
