I'm also flying TG SYD-BKK in bus, and that's a 359 with proper seating. Even the 321 from IST to MAN that I'm flying has decent bus seats for a regional flight in Europe. So TG is the odd man out.
I had an award ticket on RJ with the same seating as the TG 788, and I was happy to cancel it. I just don't like having to climb over my seat mate or being climbed over (heaven forbid) in this day and age. And I do like a window seat.
And, contrary to the opinion of others, there was absolutely no alternative for this city pair with MP in business class. So beggars can't be choosers...
again, TG is not the only one...you can add others like LH
IST MAN: well some people doubt that IST belongs to Europe...anyway with 4 hours its a pretty long flight withing Europe.
but most of TK's A320 and A321 also have a 3-3 layout in biz with the middle seat free (like many other airlines) and only some have better business seats....
