We never gave out buddy passes to a friend. The one time you do they get stuck. If you’re flying nonrev being flexible is a must and don’t even bother checking loads until 48 hours as they can change. Flying in the premium cabin on a buddy pass is a rarity unless you’re flying on Christmas Day or a 5am flight. Even then there are likely several non revs ahead of you for upgrades. Buddy passes aren’t free ; after taxes and fees id strongly consider purchasing a ticket. Doug Parker did raise buddy pass fees by 10%
