  • b) having already held status (Silver, Gold, or Platinum), reaching the end of that status membership year with an XP balance that exceeds the threshold required to maintain that status level (meaning: a Silver ending their year with a balance above 100 and below 180XP: a Gold ending their year with a balance above 180XP and below 300XP; a Platinum ending their year with a balance above 300XP).

If you currently hold status, but failed to requalify for that same level for the following year, you will be downgraded in status (by one level) and you cannot have a rollover. Your next membership year by default starts with 0XP.

If you already hold status (i.e. you are Silver, Gold or Platinum), you can only get a rollover if you at least maintain the same status level, or go up in status level.
  • As a Gold - who has status - the only way you can get a rollover is by maintaining Gold status (i.e. accumulating more than 180XP in the fixed 12-month Gold membership year), or being upgraded to Platinum (by accumulating more than 300XP before the end of their fixed Gold membership year)
Sorry but my understanding is slightly different for Gold and Platinum:
if you are Gold but you can't retain Gold with 180 XP because you make for eg. 125 you are downgraded to Silver (100 XP) but you retain 25 XP (125 - 100).
If you are Gold but you can't retain Gold with 180 XP because you make for eg. 95 you are downgraded to Silver with 0 XP

I have however no direct experience to confirm it. It is just my reading and understanding of rules which is slightly different.
