Thinking the same, but also thinking that they didn't have the technical ability to introduce the blackout dates for this package on the IHG's website. I don't want to make another booking just to check it out, of course, but nevertheless.
Or they DO have the ability to differentiate the cancellation terms for the package based on dates of stay?

What matters to you are the T&Cs in the booking for your stay that starts on the 26th. The period in the bottom of the screen shot ends on the 26th i.e. for people staying over Christmas and checking out on the 26th..
Totally agree about the T&C, but what's done is done here.
About the 26th: was thinking the same, that it is for those who check-OUT, not check-IN. Hope that both you & I are right.
