I still think 2x2x2 is very 20th century and has no place to here now. But just my thoughts,

I'm also flying TG SYD-BKK in bus, and that's a 359 with proper seating. Even the 321 from IST to MAN that I'm flying has decent bus seats for a regional flight in Europe. So TG is the odd man out.

I had an award ticket on RJ with the same seating as the TG 788, and I was happy to cancel it. I just don't like having to climb over my seat mate or being climbed over (heaven forbid) in this day and age. And I do like a window seat.

And, contrary to the opinion of others, there was absolutely no alternative for this city pair with MP in business class. So beggars can't be choosers...
