Lufthansa Chatbot Discussion
I know there are some threads on Irrops and such. To my knowledge, there's no thread specific to the bot, though. Let's use this topic to discuss how we might benefit from using it. Issues can be brought up as well, maybe someone from LH reads along.
Was on the last flight of the day which ultimately got cancelled.
While still on the aircraft, I tried finding an alternative flight via the bot. It indeed suggested six alternatives. But all were extremely odd, each of them requiring an overnight (in ZRH, WAW, or similar) meaning I would get to the destination delayed by two days. On GF, I saw seats on non-stops which would get me to the destination the next day (so just one day delay).
So, the bot actually worked correctly, as I would say as a programmer. It provided a usable interface and indeed suggested alternative flights which seemed bookable.
What made me the bot useless to me was that the alternatives were highly undesirable. So I picked up the phone and indeed got a seat on a non-stop.
What are your recent experiences with the bot?
