Years and years of travel in China has likely worn them down. The airport experience is nowhere near as bad as they are making it out to be.
Those new airports are simply awesome to witness for yourself.
Flew HU domestic flight back to Beijing last night, On time arrival at the BUS gate area of T2. Abet chilly outside with the cold snap waiting for the bus to the terminal. The T2 toilets were frozen, so closed in the baggage floor (ground level of old T2 area.) as under repair/construction. Toilets in the parking garage were open. busy place on a Friday night.
T2 is the old Beijing terminal, whereas T3 is the new more modern terminal.
T2 has the FBO for private jets, + the government Air China folks.
HU has 3 departure lounges for HU domestic (2) & international, (1). (depends on Hu status for lounges)
