Lost my GS status just prior to Covid and got zero extension obviously. I subsequently made 1K so any "soft landing" would have been moot. Sadly I was not able to tap into the the "generous" Covid extensions. Looks like for next year I'll remain Plat as I just missed 1K (another story) and won't chase it now but that's for another thread.
