Upgraded (possibly) but no ticket number and cannot check-in online
Hello, looking for some reassurance…. I booked a BA holiday with WT+ flights back in February. I have the Silver status so was able to book my seats at the time of booking.
In the app, both the outbound and return flights were shown with my selected seats and the ‘125’ e- ticket numbers were shown (and are also on my original email confirmation).
The flight is tomorrow and I have gone to check-in online but it says it cannot do it due to a missing e-ticket number and that I need to check-in in person.
The outbound flight is now showing as a club world flight (rather than the WT+ that I booked). So I thought “oh they have upgraded us!” which would be lovely, but I can’t choose the seats and the telephone line is closed now and I’ve not received any email confirmation or anything to state what’s happened.
Am worried that the lack of e-ticket number will cause problems tomorrow as have read stories here about people not being able to check in etc, and am also worried that if this is a glitch of some kind that the original seats I booked won’t be available.
The return leg is unaffected and still showing the original seat and ticket number.
