There have been mixed reports on the date of the ETC but canceling within 24 means refunding to the same form of payement -- ETC in this case,

A short oneway booked far out is you best chance to find $75-ish tickets. Use the UA or google map searches. It does not need to be from a local airport as you plan to cancel.
