I don't even think that Marriott outsourced 'IT' even knows about this issue, and there seems to be no way to get a ticket open to get it addressed.
Marriott told me they have NO IT Dept., last time I had this same issue. I didn't change phone or email, only put in a new CC number when making a booking and selected to save it as a new default.
The Marriott reps, always just wanted to ask you to reset your password. It was difficult to get them to open a ticket and when one was opened (the first rep said she will, but did not seem to have opened one), we have to wait a few days for the ticket to be answered. For me, the Marriott reps were not helpful, but at least the second rep did acknowledge they have issue. I did have to wait 5 days, and the issue automagically went away.
