I think your other options will be to consider taking BA to MCOL for breach of contract, making it clear that Vueling and BA have a shared owner.The argument would be that the breach of contract could be valued at EC261 levels, without the claim actually being for EC261. And depending on where the IDB took place, using the Spanish system, which the Iberia forum has a few experiences recorded. But yes, that's where we've lost some consumer protections thanks to Brexit.
