I was wondering if someone could give me some advice.
I needed an overnight stay at HND before a flight to LHR because the time was changed by BA and the CTS connection which was part of my ticket wouldn't have got me to Tokyo in time.
I was in communication with the British Airways Customer Relations with a case number, submitted a claim for the hotel and a sum was agreed upon.
I submitted all of the bank information they asked for and they were unable to make the payment. My bank told me they should have been asking for another couple of bits of info, but they insisted they were right and the thing became a complete farce. Questions ignored, same replies as if generated by AI, and absolutely no coherent communication. Laurel and Hardy stuff. This happened over the course of about a year, from August 2022 to August 2023.
At the end of August 2023, I sent a letter with a hard copy of my communications with Customer Service to the Waterside address with a variety of contact details asking for some sort of resolution. Four months have now passed with nothing.
Is there another route I can take to get this case finished? I am in Japan and am unable to do phone calls.
