Pretty sure not. There are plenty of foreigners floating around in Beijing thesedays and also on that flight, given the Taiwan region hasn't required visas for many nationalities for years.

In addition, I'm of Chinese origin despite the passeport, and therefore all of my spoken interactions are in mandarin chinese. So it's not apparent that I'm a foreigner at first glance.
