I have found plenty of real AA award space w AS miles where AA doesnt show MileSaaver availability. The reality is that AA will often not show milesaaver for a trans atlantic segment on its metal without an IB or BA segment tacked on in Europe. While the examples in this thread may be phantom, I just booked 2 AA F awards LAX-LHR with AS miles and I could not get them to show on AA without adding LHR-CDG or LHR-BRU on. BTW, my examples are mostly very last minute, say T-7 days.
