The first time I flew on AA was in a DC10. It was my first business trip in a new job, and from memory and the seat map I must have been in seat 8J. These were the pale brown recliner seats. And I recall being introduced to what has become my favourite sauvignon blanc style, the Sonoma style exemplified by Ferrari Carano. What else? First glimpse of an icebound Greenland, maybe? This was 1990, LGW/DFW.
