Second I made a simple post asking how many of the extra fees are waived. When looking at my booking for GH PDC I booked my room (King Room) for a total of $1,000. After all the taxes and fees it’s about $1,440 which is over 40% in taxes and fees. Which is why I felt it was a valid question to ask. On top of that in other countries like Colombia the VAT is waived for tourists and it’s waived, which is another reason I asked.

Not sure why you had to get snippy it was a friendly question.
Taxes are very high in Mexico.

Only resort fee is waived... However, I was just at the GH PDC in early December. I stayed 3 nights and the total was $665, including a spa treatment. For some reason, booking through Privee, I got 3rd night free, $50 spa credit, and an additional, unexpected $100 credit that was applied to room rate. The breakfast at the restaurant was decent with amazing view.
