Was not asked choice of appetizer. Also no garlic bread (is that only ex-USA)?

Chocolate cake for dessert (with some whipped cream) was quite good.

Mid-flight snacks were chips etc.

For pre-arrival I tried the croque monsieur. A nutritional nightmare but very tasty. Not sure what they did to the fries but they were hot and crispy — by far the best fries I’ve had on any UA flight.
