Well, the resort fee is waived, per policy. I'm not sure you can expect anything other than that on a paid stay (vs award stay). Globalist do not get local taxes, etc. waived

You just stated in another thread that you lost your "$5K bankroll in 4 hrs" in Vegas and your worried about the taxes due on a ~$200'ish per night room rate? Seriously?
I assure you, the additional taxes and fees on our stay were nowhere near $5K

Furthermore, there are no AIs in the area that have a ~$200'ish per night room rate (at least one we'd stay at). They are usually multiples of that. And when it comes to government required fees such as VAT, Occupancy tax, etc. you are paying those taxes on AI stays, it's just embedded in the rate. Your simply fooling yourself if you believe otherwise (VAT and occupancy taxes are legally mandated taxes). AI rates just price that into their rate as they are still on the hook for them.

Anyhow, as I've told you before (several times), I'm not a budget traveler, per se, (though I do expect value for my money) and my stay choices are not based on whether there are "extra fees, service contributions, etc." I look at the overall rate and determine if that is worth it to me. The rate is the rate, I don't spend a lot of time tying myself into emotional knots regarding how the specific line items of the rate are allocated. We stay where we want to stay. In this particular case, staying at the Grand Hyatt PDC was quite affordable, but that was not necessarily the driver.
