We are flying to Male in Jan.

When I first booked I could only find economy and went for them as my companion voucher was running out and the avios and pounds costs wasn’t too bad. But not long after booking and religiously searching bc became available on the outbound. So I managed to get that changed.

I search a number of times a day and have never seen an inbound one come available for any days around the week of our flight. (Although I know the inbound bit on the website can be temperamental)

There are now some bc reward seats a couple of days before we return. And it’s making me wonder if more can become available for our flight. Does anyone know how it works? Especially getting closer and closer to the day of the flights? Do I just need to accept we’ll be flying back in Y?
