Hello All,
Just completed our stay at Capella Hanoi.
OVerall it was a hit with us. There some "misses" by the hotel.

Pros -
"Living room" concept is very good. You get coffee / tea , some little snacks, cookies, etc through the day. Alcohol (if you partake) in the evening.
Breakfast had a wide variety of choices. You can order whatever you want as long as breakfast included in your rate.
Plenty of vegetarian / vegan options for us.

Suite was well appointed. Toto japanese style toilet!

toiletries were DS and Durga.... (we are not very fond of the brand)

The people were really nice. Almost everyone (including the GM) knew us by name and our room number.

We felt the hotel looks beautiful!

Cons -
Initial communication (pre arrival) was not great. But got better very quickly.

We asked them to organize our tours. That was not a great idea. Tours were organized by a third party travel agent, who contracts other third parties to do the actual tours.
I would give a 5/10 for the tours. We did give them this feedback.
The guides did not really speak good english and were literally googling answers for our questions in front of us. LOL !

Well, lesson learned.

But, overall - yes, we would highly recommend Capella Hanoi.
