The same happened to me. But it is not accepting valid new passwords, which I suspect means my account has indeed been locked. From a search online it would appear the lock is for 24 or 48 hours and attempting to access during that period restarts the lock period.
I didn’t envisage when QR took a shareholding in BA that it would also follow some of its less desirable IT practices….
I’m stuck in OTP limbo at present as I have not yet had the second one to log in with my reset password!
