Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street
Started a thread as there wasn’t one and just had a recent stay!
Arrived late at night, entrance is at the front on Broad street and on 3rd floor.
As a diamond I was upgraded, although as there’s little to offer it was a room with an added sofa bed.
A bit random as I didn’t require one and it is basically a pull out sofa bed, which I’d actually have preferred as a sofa.
Offered two items from their selection, so water and a packet of crisps it was.
Room standard Hampton fodder, on floor 12 of I think 19?
Bathroom was the sliding door shared with wardrobe.
Decent shower that had both corded small nozzle and overhead rain shower head.
Breakfast served until 09:30 on floor 3.
Large area with good selection of hot and cold, with duplicate areas for toast/ bread goods and bean to cup coffee machines.
Waffle makers seemed popular. Standard of food was perfectly acceptable Slightly odd potato balls instead of hashbrowns.
Tables were being cleared quickly, in fact, too quickly as my croissant disappeared, whilst I sourced a coffee!
Parking is in their own underground car park which is accessed only from the street behind.
You cannot park out front at all, as the tram line runs straight past.
It’s only around the corner from the Hilton Garden Inn Brindley Place, the offers an alternative that is unsurprisingly, usually priced cheaper.
A useful alternative, if you needed a couple of nights in Birmingham and wanted to combine with the HGI to boost stay count.
