For a $2k savings I would happily take AA over DL.

AA Flagship Business "Plus" (Premier) is the exact same business class and aircraft seating, but spending extra for the "Plus" gets you access to the First Class check-in area as well as Flagship Dining (Chelsea lounge at JFK).

Flagship Business "Plus" is typically about $500 per person more expensive, each way. Definitely NOT worth it.
