Years ago, I was traveling on business from JFK to Seattle. The actual routing was JFK x SFO to Seattle. There was a flight to LAX and one to SFO at adjacent gates boarding at the same time. I don't know how it happened, but I got on the flight JFK to Lax. Even when the Captain did his spiel about flying time to Lax etc. as we were rolling down the runway, I literally sat in the seat thinking that it's so weird the pilot did not know where he was flying to. Got to Lax and couldn't find my connecting flight - to discover that of course it didn't exist coz I was supposed to be in SFO.

It was a freaking nightmare getting to Seattle!
