Just an FYI for UA flyers who like to lounge-hop at LHR: I got turned away from AC today on the basis of a “3 hours before flight” rule. Went across the corridor to SQ (no such rule there), then back to AC once within 3 hours.
AC implemented a 3 hour rule relatively recently, though
this does not apply if you are on a connection:
Effective June 13, 2023, access to Maple Leaf Lounges, Air Canada Cafés, and Signature Suites will be limited to three hours prior to scheduled departure time. Please note that this policy does not apply during flight connections or flight delays.
