I’m having a very similar predicament! Although living in Australia, Bali is a relatively short flight away so considering doing a short notice 4 or 5 night trip in late January (wet season, I know).
Have 2x kids (5 and 8) who will generally be pretty entertained with swimming / eating and some local exploring. But given the potential for weather plus the desire to be a relaxing style getaway, we’d be spending a fair bit of time in whichever resort we pick (with some local tours / exploring mixed in).
So many options in Bali it’s a little overwhelming! So far considering FS Jimbaran (the best value with 1x night free promo), Amandari or Amankila (wife’s preference of the 2x Amans, but considerably more expensive than even Amandari).
Will keep researching to see which of the three (or a different resort!) would be the best fit for a family with kids planning on spending significant time in the resort! A good predicament to be in, I know.
