Staying here at the moment. A room refurb is underway - although it's fairly light touch. They're going floor by floor and at the moment seem to have got to the sixth floor (currently closed). Floors above this are still in the old style.

Went to the fourth floor to look into a room that was being cleaned. Carpet in the same. TV is now fixed to the wall, desk is gone, replace with a small circular table (but bigger than the current wooden one). Everything else looked the same at first glance. Wardrobe is still mid-2000s Ikea pine.

Overall, probably enough to get it through the next few years but nothing groundbreaking. Breakfast and staff remain excellent.
