Depending on where you want to go in Asia, check to see if any of the airlines now flying TATL ex-RDU will sell you a ticket to Asia with a reasonable connection in Europe at a reasonable price. This can save you some flying time positioning to a US hub if you're trying to go somewhere in Asia that will require yet another stop anyways. Probably nothing useful on AA/BA, but maybe you could get lucky with AF or LH—both with PY products.
