OK first - scramble for a boarding pass
Malaysian Airlines at T1 Row 12 refused to print even at self check in kiosk because last flight has departed
Jewel Early Check-In was wasted effort because it closes at 8:00pm

The solution was to generate an Apple Wallet BP.
Wasn’t an obvious option at the OLCI. Also, I am a bit negatively trained by CX
not to expect a OLBP post-pandemic. Takes a bit to unlearn these presumptions.
First hold of breath for the evening at ICA checkpoint when the Apple Wallet BP had to be scanned.
It did.
But the ICA officer took half a minute to carry out name check against my passport. I know he is the man with the gun but I was really holding myself back from asking him to hurry up:
