You may only have to spend ~$200k on a the business card, earning 1.5x pts/dollar, plus all the milestone bonuses. If you can use the free night certs it can definitely make sense. Plus, you get the points rebate after the $50k spend, so that's another 20k points. Assuming you're earning and burning and visiting Hyatts, it's a pretty strong value.
