Why would you take out the 18.10 euro local tax from competitor rate? It seems like they've clearly laid out total cost is 381 euro, with 363 euro due now if you decide to pay "now", with the 18.10 euro local tax/fee possibly being charge on property.
Because both Marriott rate and competitor rate include the 18.10 tax. Shouldn't they compare the room rates without the tax?

18.10 is not paid at the property. Marriott's rate total includes the 18.10 tax WITH another note of 5% city tax to be paid at the property at check out. i.e. on top of what the taxes shown on the reservation.

Marriott total at 383 after backing out the 18.10 tax, are still higher than the competitor's total of 363 including the tax.
