I like the taste of coffee, but I don't really like the effect of too much caffeine, especially later on. A good decaff, one made using the Swiss Water Method, is just as good as a good full fat coffee. For those in the north east of England, I swear by the decaff from Pumphreys.

Alcohol-free beer is a similar thing, although I've never found one that quite tastes the same. Heineken Zero and Erdinger Frei are both lovely drinks, but the one thing they are not is beer.
