I've done a few sectors with ITA over the last twelve months, initially I was wary on the basis of where ITA came from but the least I could say is that I've never had anything to complain about. Flights have all operated on time, service on board has been pleasant, food better than average, bags have been delivered promptly and none lost. The lounges at FCO are better than many and I'm sure I've eaten too much pasta and pizza in them too - but it is very good. Fares are also competitive. This does really seem like it's been a new start rather than any sense of a continuation of Alitalia so I'm now no longer wary of travelling with them and actually look forward to it.
