LH brought back pre-arrival hot meals in Y this Fall.
It was all part of their Y service revamp that corresponded with the failure of BOB on long haul. Cocktail/midflight snacks are now back and shorter long hauls (to the East Coast) now see a more substantial pre-arrival snack. I believe spirits are also now free again.
