Sure, "eventually." But as we all know, quite well at this point, these type of policy changes can take a very, very long time. So "eventually" may still be quite a distant point in the future.
Furthermore, I clearly said there is some incremental value in this, but there are still many gaps. For example, as a US based traveler this will make little improvement for me because when I land in the US returning home, I still have to go through security again in order to connect to my final destination and thus I'll be subject to the US standard not the UK standard (which by the way is also true for Brits visiting the US).
So progress, sure, but a long way to go yet...
