i always recommend using cards every 6 months or so, if you dont want to risk them closing it. Even if its just for a cup of coffee. Or make an extra payment toward your cell phone for a few bucks
I agree, just to be on the safe side. You can also pick something that's a no-brainer: If you have a recurring payment for a relatively small amount, just auto-pay it using your card. Set it and forget it.
